Surgical Gown

A surgical gown, also known as a patient gown is a garment worn by patients in hospitals and other medical facilities.
Disposable surgical gowns may be made of polypropylene (PP) or thin plastic, with ties front tie and neck ties, elastic with wrist or knitted.

Surgical gowns are much thinner and looser than regular clothing, so patients are less likely to overheat. Used surgical gowns are associated with hospital infections, which could be avoided by proper disposal.
